Foundations of Graphics & Compute - Volume 2: Rendering offers a compelling take on webgpu, though not without flaws. While the treatment of Web Development & Design is excellent, I found the sections on Computers & Technology less convincing. The author makes some bold claims about Programming that aren't always fully supported. That said, the book's strengths in discussing webgpu more than compensate for any weaknesses. Readers looking for compute will find much to appreciate here, even if not every argument lands perfectly. Overall, a valuable addition to the literature on simulation, if not the definitive work.

I absolutely loved Foundations of Graphics & Compute - Volume 2: Rendering! It completely changed my perspective on webgpu. At first I wasn't sure about Books, but by chapter 3 I was completely hooked. The way the author explains ai is so clear and relatable - it's like they're talking directly to you. I've already recommended this to all my friends who are interested in simulation. What I appreciated most was how the book made compute feel so accessible. I'll definitely be rereading this one - there's so much to take in!

Just finished Foundations of Graphics & Compute - Volume 2: Rendering - wow! The part about compute really got me thinking.
What did you think about simulation? That's what really stayed with me.

I'd add that compute is also worth considering in this discussion.
For me, the real strength was wgsl, but I see what you mean about ai.

Has anyone else read Foundations of Graphics & Compute - Volume 2: Rendering? I'd love to discuss simulation!
Have you thought about how graphics relates to compute? Adds another layer!
I think the author could have developed webgpu more, but overall great.
Interesting perspective. I saw compute differently - more as wgsl.
I completely agree! The way the author approaches wgsl is brilliant.
